The new journal, Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AJPS, ISSN 1818-0876), will be a torch for Asian pharmacy. I sincerely congratulate that the journal is launched by Chinese Medicine Technical International Development Association and Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, and it is absolutely expected to make a great contribution for not only Asian but also international pharmaceutical sciences. 

    AJPS will offer a better means of scientific exchange within Asia and also promote research cooperation in regional specialties, such as the use of oriental medicines in Asia.

    I hope that the AJPS will be full of such new information, resulting ultimately in great advances in the health sciences not only in Asia but also around the world.
